Custom Mouse Cursor

Hello, i'm trying to get a cursor set to work. The main issue is that it's in the .ani format. I've been trying to convert it using the win2xcur tool, but so far nothing has worked. I also tried a script by PxRyzl, but the create-directory-first script doesn't do anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
