Multiple Monitor Mouse Cursor - not understanding

question

Hello everybody, I hope this is an easy question. I have tried and stopped using Bazzite a couple of times. I want to commit with it, but the aspect I can't figure out is how to keep my mouse cursor on my main monitor.

The game launches, on the correct screen, however whether I set it to fullscreen, borderless, windowed, etc. or use Gamescope, I can't seem to get my mouse cursor to not leave my primary monitor during gameplay. Gamescope in my experience causes frame loss. I feel like I'm fundamentally misunderstanding how this should be working. Can folks here who have faced similar issues share what Gamescope settings you are using and how things should be tuned in-game?

basically all you need to do is set
