HDR
question
Has anyone managed to get HDR working with an Nvidia card under Bazzite? I can enable it, in the "calibration" screen I can see that it is correct, it pushes the screen to what appears to be 800-1000nits, but everything that is HDR, isn't.... the screen is running in "HDR" mode, it's an LG C4, but no HDR is popping at all, the colours seem ok, and even when looking at this website with HDR/SDR test images they look ok, however, they are only "SDR" bright if that makes sense... the only time I can see the screen actually make something "bright" is inside the HDR calibration menu. The screen is reasonably well calibrated, using HGiG not dynamic tone mapping, game optimizer, all works well with Windows 11, macOS, the PS5 and Xbox Series X all work well and all look virtually identical when watching or using the same content (video/game etc).
NVIDIA-SMI 580.95.05 Driver Version: 580.95.05 (The newer driver they were using actually made the HDR pop, but the tone mapping was completely incorrect, blacks were crushed).
