Emulators won't remember rom locations (drive mount number keeps changing)

Despite giving the mount a name, when adding the rom folder path to my emulator it shows a number that seems to change after every boot.
Is there a way to prevent this?
I have the drive formatted as Ext4.

You probably need to use flatseal to whitelist the location for the emulator, assuming it's a flatpak

Easy fix then. Open flatseal, choose Primehack in this case, then scroll down to the "filesystem" section then you can just add your rom folder as another location it can access under "other files". Mine looks like this, for example

the :ro:ro flag just gives it read only access, not necessary to do it that way though

then restart primehack and add the location one (hopefully last) time
