KDE suddenly acts wonky and thinks things are missing
Today I ran into a weird issue with KDE. All of a sudden it starts complaining about things being missing and I can't figure out why. Most things still work but they might be less convenient to use. For instance... The network manager says that its service isn't running, even though I'm able to access the internet. The user profile screen says no accounts exist, even though I'm logged in. Mounted drives don't show up in Dolphin's sidebar even though I can access them by navigating to their mount points. Apps such as Kate and gparted don't prompt to run as administrator when needed; they just fail to save/run/whatever. So the system is usable but harder to use. Any idea what's going on? I tried rolling back to a previous ostree and also deleting my KDE configuration files but that didn't help... All I can think of is maybe some random change I made earlier today broke everything (or maybe a change I made prior but it only took effect on reboot), but I'm not sure what. One thing I haven't tried is removing the line I added to .bashrc that added a new folder to LD_LIBRARY_PATH but I'm not sure how that could have broken it... Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
