Replacing magnetic sensor with potentiometer?
Hi. I apologize I am ignorant when it comes to hardware. This discord was the best place I could think of for seeking assistance. I'm just looking for general guidance on how I could figure out what I need to do for this.
I have a cheap servo sewing machine motor, and the speed controller has a 3pin connector to a small board that sits against a magnet on a lever. The idea is that you connect the lever to a foot pedal, however, I want controlled speed with a knob. I don't know how these work, if its measuring by voltage or resistance, or if there is an easy way to convert it or not.
