PC Shutdown on Game Start
Hello! I’ve encountered a problem with my (old and super budget) PC lately. If I start VALORANT or when I’m about to join a game after the queue ended, my PC would shut down. As of my research, VALORANT tends to spike with power on components, like instantly wanting full power instead of gradually wanting more power like other games do. I know the issue is my power supply, but this only happens on VALORANT. No other game does this. But yet I need a clearer explanation why it’s only on VALORANT and no other game? I’ve put my PC specifications below, and yes I know it’s on a very tight budget and it may be old, but I’ve had this thing since like 5 years.
Help would be much appreciated.
My PC specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
RAM: 16 GB Crucial DDR4 3200 MT/s Motherboard: ASUS Prime B550M-A
SSD: 500 GB M.2 SSD
PSU: be quiet! System Power B9 450W
Help would be much appreciated.
