fps less than half of usual (no weird temps or anything)

just trying to play Valorant and my FPS is dipping to 120, and my mouse feels like jelly (really delayed). I usually get around 400-500 FPS so I have no idea what has happened, my temps are completely normal (RTX 3080, 7600x, 32GB RAM)
