Snapper: You cannot restore to the root of the partition
So after the umu API issue this morning made it impossible to launch Shadow of Chernobyl, I tried to manually force a download of my savegames, because the only ones that showed up when I launched with the ethernet cable unplugged were very old. The Heroic launcher decided that since it didn't find any cloud saves, it would instead upload those old saves and sync that way. Now, both steamuser and my actual username have just those few saves in the prefix directory. Having recently told snapper to make timeline backups (without knowing what I was doing), I thought to try and restore from last night. The issue is that the dropdown for "target" only has one entry, and I get the error in the subject of this post when I try to restore. Are my saves completely gone?
