Error Loading Firestone Online Idle RPG

The game installed on and the splash screen loads, but then the game crashes with an error. I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with wine-stabel v10.0. I ensured that the dependencies listed are installed and installed wine32 and wine64. I have other wine games that do play, so... I'm lost.

Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton:

Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "GE-Proton" tab, and install "GE-Proton-Latest"
Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - GE-Proton-latest"
Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from current-namecurrent-name to current-name_bakcurrent-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings.
Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.

Sorry about that. I attached the logs as a text file, but I guess it didn't send. Ok, under Proton, I don't get the error window after the splash screen, it just drops back to Heroic. Here is the log file with it installed under Proton - https://0x0.st/Prvs.log

Your Mesa is too old. Either update to Ubuntu 24, or use the Flatpak version of Heroic

I can do that - the flatpak, that is. What will I need to do - if anything - to transfer the games already installed and settimngs from the repo version to the flatpak version?

You'll have to re-import your installed games. There's a button for that in the install dialog. Sadly you'll have to do that per-game, we don't have a mass-import feature yet
