Getting 5090 running via eGPU as a sidecar GPU to a 7900xtx (for AI workflows)
I've got a bazzite rig that I've been running for a while with a 7900xtx in it. I wanted to utilize the rig for AI workflows, so I picked up an RTX 5090. I put the 5090 directly in, to confirm it worked, and it did (for AI workflows, for big picture mode, it was as good as we all know).
I picked up an eGPU setup using oculink and an oculink card, to try to use the 5090 as a sidecar GPU and I'm having issues with it being discovered.

I understand this to be maybe common with the latest driver and/or kernel? Has anyone done anything like this or have any pointers to how I can get this up and working?
