Strange issue when booted into Bazzite
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can assist with a strange issue I am experiencing when booted into Bazzite.
First my PC specs:
M/B: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X
GPU: XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT 309 RX 6700XT
PSU: Superflower HG Leadex III 850W Gold
So when I am booted into Bazzite, even just to the desktop, with NOTHING running, my GPU makes a weird sound, almost like a hard drive reading or writing. I have investigated and found that this what they call "coil whine" of sorts. Now my question is why in Bazzite only?
In Windows 11, I have NO such sound. Not even when gaming in Windows do I get this sound, ONLY when on the Bazzite desktop. Does anyone have ANY clue why this may be?
EDIT: I am using two separate PCI-E cables to the GPU.
