Xbox Ally Installation Issues

Hey folks

I just installed Bazzite on my partners Xbox Ally after she fell in love with my Ally X

I am having an issue where it get past the steam os screen with the progress bar on first start up

I didn't have this issue with my one only hers, i have tried rebasing and completely reinstalling

Secure boot is off in bios

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Solution

It just worked

Rebooted again

Didnt touch built in controller

Plugged in xbox controller

Followed steps saying unplug and pair

Paired

Gave me continue button

Pressed A on xbox controller

Bam

Login screen

Reinstalled windows and updated firmware and bios to latest to be sure

Reinstalled, same issue still

Tried rebasing
Tried ujust fix-reset-steam
Tried launching steam from desktop

All unsuccessful

Trying new boot media made with different tool and different iso

Confirming i have been using the non live version of the iso

steam updated something for the steam machine thats why this happens

Desktop steam wont launch

Having use terminal to get to desktop btw

no need to reinstall in reallity but lets check if it does the same thing again you are already started

I have 2 devices running bazzite and 1 running raw fedora so i have a small idea of what im doing this is just frustrating

I have an ally X and it works fine so I bet its because of the latest version of steam that people reported it gets the new steam machine start screen

Press a once and goes to screen saying hold pair button on controller which doesnt exist

Well if you go menu, setup it gives you the usual pick language then wifi
