When will Bazzite switch to the 590 Nvidia series, dropping 900-1000series GTX support?
I am still running my old ass laptop on bazzite right now. It's got a non-upgradable 1050ti that I've been using with Bazzite for a while with pretty decent success. (98% for schoolwork and browsing, 2% running old console emulators)
I've heard that the 590 drivers will be finally dropping support for the 10 series cards. When do you think this will start to take effect in Bazzite releases?
I would like to get ready to pin a specific version for my Laptop to use before that happens.
I know I'll need to move on to a different distro eventually, I'd just like to delay that for a bit as I'm usually pretty busy this time of year.
Now that cosmic is finally done I might try out Pop!OS again just for the lawlz. If that doesn't work then I'll switch to LMDE Mint or something like I did with my old iMac.
