I am trying to configure the seatalk-autopilot plugin to work with a Seatalk-1 (ST2000+) tiller pilot, but I get the message "No Pilot" on the gui, or "Not connected yet, retry your command".
It looks like the plugin expects to see steering.autopilot.state updated. However, the old tiller pilots do not transmit any data on the ST interface. Does anyone know if the plugin works with the basic ST1 tiller pilot? Is there a way to indicate that there will be no response to any of its commands?
