Migrating InfluxDB to v2, maybe…
I’m rebuilding my Pi with newest OS en Signal K while boat is on the hard.
Have been using InfluxDB v1 with Grafana for four years and would like to maintain history but also upgrade to InfluxDB v2. Not sure if this is even possible but found some documentation to import v1 data into a v2 DB. Will try this soon. But I’ve also read that Grafana dashboards won’t work anymore. I know how to change the datasource but now the query language is different. Are there tools to convert existing queries?
Something else; I’ve always used the whitelist option in the plugin to keep the db small. Is this also possible with the plugin for v2?
