Dumb Question regarding Bazzite and SteamOS external drive compatibility business .<.

Ahoy lads and gals
Sooo i’m in the mood for an idiot question but, has anyone ever tried to install bazzite on their steam deck oled? (Yes i know, ridiculously stupid considering it already runs native steamos BUT HEAR ME OUT)
As someone constantly messing around with external drives and stuff i thought my ROG Ally with actual steamos was pathetic on recognizing
drives and would only go through like after unplugging and replugging a couple of times, but after i switched to Bazzite literally all of my problems regarding USB drives were practically gone. With that, after owning a Steam Deck OLED that i got second hand for quite a good deal the same problems i had with my ally with steamos regarding usb devices were still common, and even with those i still don’t feel like switching the operating system, just an annoying issue i had to cope with my rog ally while it had the current “half baked” version of SteamOS and right now with my Deck, and all i wanted was maybe a close answer to why this keeps happening no matter the hardware i’m using but the operating systems :’]
