Question about the Bazzite Hardware Compatibility list regarding CPUs
Hello all, I am looking into Bazzite for a PC or two that don't support Windows 11 so I had a look through the hardware requirements: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Gaming/Hardware_compatibility_for_gaming/ (please ignore all other requirements for this thread please, I only want to know more about the CPU requirement)
As I understand, even vulkan 1.2. is not enough, so Polaris is the minimum (and pretty modern!) I suppose. However, I feel the CPU requirement is quite the opposite with a '2 GHz quadcore'. I have two questions regarding this CPU requirement:

- I suppose primarily you are limited by CPU instruction sets (and ipc, general performance etc), right? As long as your PC supports UEFI, you're good to go then?
- How much of a requirement would the 'quadcore' bit be? Is a hyperthreaded dual core in spec too or do you need four physical cores? And what can you expect from dualcores without hyperthreading?
