Ugreen adapter 4k@165hz
Hey guys. Just wanted to open this thread for any LG G5 users.
The G5 has a 120hz refresh rate by default and an option to set it to 165hz (no 144hz option).
In my experience, enabling the mode causes the signal to go entirely unstable (input on/off continuously). On 120hz it stays rock solid though.
Is anyone able to use this or can we assume the bandwidth of the adapter is lower than advertised? Enabling/disabling VRR doesnt seem to have an effect either.
If it makes any difference, Im using the RUIPRO fibre HDMI 2.1 detachable cable in between so maybe that has the bandwidth limit instead.
Edit: also, no more VRR flicker with this adapter! Yay
