Unable to add new card for domain renewal

My primary card and backup doesn't seem to work and I need to use another card or my domain renewal which is not working. I'm getting the following error when I try to update the primary or backup card
You can't remove a payment method while there are transactions in progress. Make sure all transactions are completed and all subscriptions are cancelled.
