Some external Library Photos are trashed

I've added an external library a while ago and noticed, that some of the images from there are now in the Trash, even tho they are still in the external library path (I can also validate this from the immich folder view).
I can restore them over the Web UI and it tells me that they are restored, but after a reload they still appear in the Trash "folder".

Why is that and how to fix? I want the ability to remove duplicates through immich, but for my understanding both, the external library and immich's database should stay in sync then without showing any images in trash, or just those deleted during the last 30 days?
