Black screen on gaming mode

Hi,
I have a bazzite-Nvidia-deck stable build, working perfectly on my TV, however, as soon as I changed to a new display, which does not advertise 1440p resolution, it seems to boot into gaming mode with a black screen. The UI sounds are there and I can enter desktop mode through the TTY. I’ve tried multiple fixes, like output resolution at 1080p in gamescope but this looks awful on my display. If I can try to even get 1440p I would like to, I even tried to override the EDID with 1440p but bazzite does not seem to recognise 1440p as a useable resolution still, and keeps booting into a black screen. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
