Z-Offset with Beacon not saved
I have just installed a Beacon revH on my V-core 3 and updated to RatOS 2.1.0 RC3. Mostly it's going well but I can't seem to save the Z-Offset. Or more accurately, it's not being recalled for future prints.
I have followed the given instructions (several times) but to no avail:
"Print a 150x30mm single layer rectangle in the middle of the build plate.
While printing, fine-tune using baby stepping.
Run SAVE_Z_OFFSET to save the changes. Don't click the button - type SAVE_Z_OFFSET into the console."
When I try to print the rectangle again, I expected it to show the offset reported but I get an offset of -0.019 which I'm guessing is the temperature compensation.
Checking the printer.cfg file, there is a line that I assume is where z-offset is recorded:
model_offset = -0.125
Every time I run the above instructions, this value increases. But the result is the same.
I have also tried the old school method of 'SAVE_CONFIG' when it comes up in the Toolhead menu, but that didn't work either.
So I'm not sure what to do next.
Is there an instruction to inform the slicer to pick up this value? I use PrusaSlicer and have copy/pasted the custom g-code instructions.
