Disco Elysium (GOG) - Failure to Launch

After launching there's a very quick pop-up window that loads, Heroic Launcher status shows "playing", nothing loads on screen, then after approx 10 seconds Heroic Launcher status resets (button shows "play now")
I see another issue related to Disco Elysium, however that's specific to Epic Games launcher, this is a GOG version so the proposed fix isn't applicable
