laptop not booting into gnome and display is off

i have been running bazzite for 2 yeahs now, for awhile, my laptop doesn't go into the desktop at all, only showing my cursor and then the screen turning off, it has a rare chance of actually booting but it taked hours of turning it off and on again, is there anything i can do to trouble shoot this?
