Very happy lover of HA and HASS.Agent, here. Amazing work on this integration, and amazing community.
I'm hoping for some help with logging into Windows through a HASS.agent command:
I am trying to use the multiple keys Command in HASS.agent to log into Windows. I'm using three separate multiple keys commands: one that is just [{Enter}] to open the password box, another that has the characters (all in their own brackets: [e] [x] [a] [m] [p] [l] [e]), and a third for the [{Enter}] to unlock. There is a delay between each command to ensure the system is ready for each step. Interestingly, the first [{Enter}] is working fine, but the actual password characters after are not - the password box is opened, but nothing is typed into it. Characters appear if I type on the keyboard, so certainly the password box is ready to receive the input. I'm wondering if this is an inherent Windows security thing (only keys typed on a physical keyboard work?), or something I may not have thought of? Importantly, I've created an automation in Home Assistant (which is local-only and password protected) that first sends an actionable confirmation notification to my phone (biometrically secured), so security is not an issue. I would like to make this an automation that works with the usual Windows password login, as this automation will only be occasionally used. Essentially, a simple way to login without actually being at the PC. Any help here would be appreciated!
Thanks team! DyadicOne.
