Hard freeze launching specific games (screen goes white and system becomes unresponsive).

This might be a weird set up, and I definitely might be missing some information (sorry I am new to all of this).
First set up wise:
Xbox Rog Ally X connected to a sapphire nitro+ AMD Radeon 9070 XT via a thunderbolt 5 cable, which uses my 4K TV via an HDMI cable. I am using the
I also would like to call out all my games seem to work perfectly fine from my handheld, and with the eGPU plugged in, and using the internal screen of the Xbox Rog Ally X. The issue only seems to come up when connected to the TV and sort of acting as a home theater PC.
The specific stand out case that I have been using is Elden Ring Nightreign (where as a game like Barony runs fine). Which lead me to think it has something to do with dx or the resolution. Thus I got this to work once, which was by adding the launch properties of
I assume it's not a wine/proton issue, but for proton I have been using Proton-GE-latest.
Basically what happens is I click
