Remove backup but keep original without re-uploading

the inevitable happened and my partner reached her quota
In order to decrease he quota she started to delete photos and videos that she didn't wanted (from immich web interface). However some of the photos/videos were re-uploaded again..
Is there a way to delete from backup (server) and avoid the re-upload if the resource is not deleted from origin?
I know that she should just use her phone and delete the resources from the phone and server, however using the web UI on a bigger screen (like a tablet) is way more comfortable to do this...
