Issues with OBS plugin not working

Has anyone managed to get aitum stream suite working on OBS? I installed it from bazaar as a plugin there and its just crashing when I try to use it.
Seemingly not an issue with other linux users who have been able to install it fine and not via flatpak (friend helped me test); so seems to be specific to Bazzite/flatbox.
