I have verified that the confirmation email messages are going through my SMTP server. My SMTP service has no rate limit on it and shows no errors, just the prior successful sends.
same thing happens if I try a third password reset.
With the identical SMTP configuration in another account using the same application (staging vs prod) I do not get the rate limit error at all.
Any insight will be appreciated. It feels like my account thinks it is still using the testing SMTP server but it is not.
