Roll back broke Immich, clean install?

Hello,
I rolled back my immich to a previous version and I started getting the error to migrate from the older storage configuration.
I already did that awhile ago after the change in storage configuration but tried to make sure the roll back didn't mess with permissions. I also checked for the checkbox to use old storage configurations but it's not appearing.
I tried to rsync again.
I thought maybe I should install Immich in a different dataset and copy my files over from the old one?
My current immich version says:
App Version: v1.129.0
Version: 1.7.30
I'm wondering if I need a clean install of Immich but I'm terrified of losing any photos.
I can't access Immich right now either.
What do you guys think?
