I recently received a VAN 152 error in VALORANT, which I found out is a HWID ban. This means I can’t play on any account from my PC, and it honestly caught me completely off guard because I’ve never used cheats, exploits, or any third-party software in the game.
The only possible explanation I can think of is that it may be related to other software on my system, such as cracked or pirated games. From what I understand, Riot Vanguard doesn’t only look for cheats made specifically for VALORANT, but also scans for programs that behave suspiciously at a system level, even if they have nothing to do with the game itself. It seems possible that something unrelated may have triggered this unintentionally.
I genuinely enjoy playing VALORANT and have always tried to follow the rules and play fairly. I’ve already submitted two support tickets, but the ban is still in place, and I haven’t received any clear explanation. I’m not trying to avoid responsibility I just want to understand what caused this and whether there’s anything I can do to fix it. If there’s software on my system that needs to be removed or changed, I’m more than willing to fully cooperate.
I really love this game and would appreciate the chance to resolve this and continue playing. Thank you to anyone from Riot who takes the time to review my case again and help clarify the situation.
My Riot ID: romp#romps, on this account i have never played a single game and i found out i was already banned.
