create folder in /usr/lib/firmware

hey I‘m using Bazzite OS on my desktop pc and am trying to get automatic resolution with sunshine working. I‘m fairly new to Linux..
Following this tutorial: https://www.azdanov.dev/articles/2025/how-to-create-a-virtual-display-for-sunshine-on-arch-linux
but already with the first step of creating a folder „edid“ in /usr/lib/firmware I get the error „Read-only file system“.
What would be the right way?
