Cron jobs not executing automatically on Windows (only work with --force)

Hi! I'm running OpenClaw 2026.2.3-1 on Windows and my cron jobs work perfectly when I force them with

openclaw cron run <jobId> --force

openclaw cron run <jobId> --force

(they deliver to Telegram successfully), but they never execute automatically on schedule.

My gateway daemon is running (

Runtime: running

Runtime: running

RPC probe: ok

RPC probe: ok

), the Windows Scheduled Task is configured correctly (runs whether logged on or not, no battery/time restrictions), and

cron.enabled: true

cron.enabled: true

in my config.

The issue is that the gateway logs show no automatic execution attempts at scheduled times. The

updates after forced runs but the scheduler never auto-triggers the jobs.

Is there a specific gateway setting or Windows permission that controls automatic cron polling? The gateway seems alive but not checking schedules.
