cant take ownership of external hard drive
question
ive been really frustrated dealing with this issue for weeks. does anyone know how to mount an external hard drive without ownership being taken by root? i keep being unable to move files onto or off of the drive because it keeps deciding at random that files belong to root. ive tried everything from reformatting to a different mount point but nothing works.
