When I connect a Wii remote normally with Bluetooth with the built-in driver it shows up as a controller in the system settings and in steam. And the main remote works just fine. But both places (system and steam) have a test input features where you can see that the Nunchuck doesn't work.
I think the driver is somehow separating the Nunchuck into its own input device. I'm not really sure. It doesn't show up as a controller though.
I would also love to be able to use the IR pointer with the sensor bar (or candles, you just need the IR) as a mouse cursor, that would be extremely cool. The IR sensor also seems separated as another input device, there are four in total, the last one being the accelerometer.
Has anyone figured out how to properly set up a wii remote so it is fully functional for other games outside of emulators? Having at least the Nunchuck stick and buttons working would already be nice.
