Immich wants to regenerate all thumbnails, even though they already exist

Not sure what is going on here.. I've got 105k photos and 5.4k videos
When clicking 'missing' under 'thumbnail generation' it loads 97k of images to the queue.
Even if I let it go through this list it would still load as many images to the queue after that..
