Crafting Module (built for Monsters of Drakkenheim)
Module🚫Closed💶Bounty💵CommissionHey all! Looking for someone to help make a crafting module for Foundry VTT (dnd5e) to facilitate the crafting system created by Monsters of Drakkenheim!
Effectively, all I'd need from the module would be:
- A way to 'give' players new recipes, ideally one easy to manage
- Tag-based recipe system- there'd effectively be specific 'inputs' required to make a specific item. Each input would have specific conditions for an item to be dragged into the input slot. It could be as simple as checking if the rarity of the item is of a level equal to or higher the one set, or if it has specific text in the name. So, if a recipe required 'Uncommon Hide from a Monstrosity', I could set the input to show that, and only show items that are Rare or higher, and have the terms 'Hide' and 'Monstrosity' in the name.
- If all the inputs have items that fit the tags in them, it outputs the output item(s) directly to the players inventory.
- A way to search through all the recipes set up in the game to see which ones you could use a specific item on (so the GM could search for all recipes an item could potentially fit into one of the 'input' slots for to find them easily
- Ways to set up 'And/or' conditions for inputs and outputs- so you could set it so it could for example, require one input AND a second AND a third, or one input AND either one input OR another. Same with outputs, where you could set either multiple outputs or gives the player a choice of one of multiple outputs.
Why not use existing crafting modules?
- Mastercrafted only accepts one tag at a time, and only inputs the top item in the inventory list
- Beaver's Crafting works very very close to what I want, but lacks a good search feature and takes AGES to load the crafting menu due to it using items for each of the inputs/outputs, and having to pull them all from compendiums or front loads the foundry load time by ages due to having to have all recipes and inputs as items in the sidebar.
Hopefully I've explained this well enough, more than willing to answer questions!
