Steam not starting

Steam wont start anymore, i tried reinstalling, everything i could personally think of with googling. found this command __GL_CONSTANT_FRAME_RATE_HINT=3 steam -reset but nothing happens when i input it in the console.. I'd like to say its not a big deal but steam is a big deal for me
