GTA 5 not opening

Hello,
I have tried the solutions in the frequently asked questions along with other changes on other threads. when i use the bat.fix file i still just get the rockstar launcher saying "buy now"
Is there some other fix i could try? Im on the latest proton "proton experimental" I have also tried other protons., i have also entered start "USE_FAKE_EPIC_EXE" = true as a variable. I've been at this for two days now changing files and settings and cant get it to open.
I am running Bazzite on a Rog Ally X. Everything else in heroic launcher has worked.
