Checkerboard + seeing double issue in VR

After installing the newest mesa version i suddenly have a checkerboard and double vision issue when launching any vr game.
I use the newest flatpak of WiVRN with a quest 2 headset. This happens wired or through wifi. The headset is fine as the Meta space looks normal.
I tried changing every setting in WiVRN and nothing helped. I already looked online but could not find anything like the problem im having.
Using a 7800xt with mesa 26.0.0.1 drivers
edit: 2 days ago this worked fine, and played 5 hours of problem free beat saber already.
