Hi, my friend has switched from Windows 11 to Bazzite just a couple of days ago, and is running into some issues regarding their CPU. On windows, their CPU would always run at its base speed of 3.8 GHz with no problems; but ever since switching to Bazzite, we are seeing it go at clock speeds of 4-5 GHz while idle, and up to 6 Ghz when playing intensive games.
This wouldn't be an issue on its own, but it's causing the CPU temps to go up to 90 degrees celsius when playing intensive games (Cyberpunk77 as an example) , at which point the computer shuts itself off.
Is there any way we can figure out why the CPU is running so fast and so hot, and how we can change this to function normally?
His CPU is a Ryzen 7 9700x, hooked up to a Nxzt AIO for cooling.
