Retraction Tuning Help - Vcore 3.1

I've been trying to tune my retraction value due to getting fine stringing on a lot of prints, and I'm having a tough time figuring out what to update because it seems like the numbers I'm seeing are out of whack.
The first photo (zoomed in) is with z-hop off, the second is with it set to 2mm. I tried the z-hop at 2 mm first.
