Hey, I honestly don’t know what else to do, so I’m posting here hoping someone can actually look into this.
I’ve been playing VALORANT for around 5 years. When I recently logged back in, my account was suddenly permanently banned for “third-party software.” After that ban, I tried logging into an alternate account on the same PC and immediately got a message saying my device is restricted due to assumed third-party software. That’s when it became clear this is a hardware-level ban, not just one account.
What makes this especially frustrating is that the only third-party programs I use are NVIDIA App, Corsair iCUE, Logitech G HUB, Discord, and Spotify. If any of these are somehow triggering the ban (which why - they are common apps), can someone please let me know, because right now I’ve been given zero explanation.
I’ve spent years improving at this game through proper game sense, awareness, sound cues, and experience. It makes absolutely no sense that this could lead to a permanent ban and a full device restriction. I would never risk an account I’ve invested this much time and money into.
On top of that, Support hasn't told what specifically triggered it, what software caused concern, or why my entire device is blocked. That lack of clarity is honestly shocking and really discouraging, considering this game is genuinely so amazing to play - yet my ban is out of the blue.
I’ve seen other players in similar situations eventually get a deeper review and have things resolved, which is why I’m posting here. If anyone from Riot Games or the VALORANT team can take another look, explain the root cause, or help remove the hardware ban, I’d be extremely grateful.
