Steam Discussion threads in Game Mode truncated (GPD Win Max 2 6800u)

You can see in the images attached how the Steam Discussion boards look for me in Game Mode. Either the threads are super short horizontally and thus can't be read, or are straight-up invisible (but can still be selected). Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Does anyone know of a possible fix?
