Client connection issue with DH support loaded on server

MC 1.20.xA few of the users of my server are disconnecting due to DH taking too long to load the LOD chunks. There is no other errors from other mods. I have since removed DH and DH support from the server and the issue has stopped. Are there any known bugs where the client or server take to long to load the rendered chunks and kick players from a server, and are there any fixes for this?
