Issues started 3 days ago. The 2 C120s I have are connected with to my DS220+ setup to record 24/7. Had some lag but nothing too bad. Now it seems if I have the cameras recording, the live view is lagging hard and freezing up.
If I just set the cameras to live view and not record in Synology’s Surveillance Station, they still lag hard. It’s only when I remove the cameras that they work normally in the TP Link Tapo app.
I’ve tried new Ethernet cables that I have lying around to change out for the NAS, changed WiFi width from 40hz to 20hz, moved cameras to be right next to the router, nothing seemed to work.
A new WiFi signal appeared 3 days ago and a neighbor 3 doors down had Verizon install a new line for them so my only guess is that maybe that 1 extra AP is the breaking point for my 2.4ghz bandwidth and my network can’t handle more than just the TPLink app live view.
