Games have lower FPS than on Windows, but better TPS???

Title. I've noticed that while my TPS is better with most games... the FPS suffers a lot. Running on an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti. I've set power management to Performance, which helped a little, but I'm still getting really bad FPS in both Rimworld and Minecraft. Let me know if you need more information.
Solution
after some experimenting, i have concluded that the performance issues stem from the games themselves and Bazzite has had a noticeable, even if minimal, positive effect on performance. i will close the issue now.
