screen flicker at high framerate

When I have certain GPU-accelerated programs in fullscreen (krita, discord, etc) and move the mouse I get a strange flickering in the bottom half of the screen, where it renders the underneath-window (or desktop)
This only happens at 160HZ (the maximum refresh rate of my monitor) at 4K
Lowering to 144HZ removes the issue.
