I think I destroyed something and I'm low key panicking. I was trying to theme KDE using Rounded corners (installed via distrobox) and was trying to run a sudo command and it said my password was wrong.
I tried like 12 more times, making SURE the password was correct but to no avail. Same with su -, it wouldn't take in the root password I made on install.
So, I shut off the machine and tried to get into the grub boot menu but keep getting into the grub commandline. I tried typing exit to get back to grub but instead it just did a default boot in which it tries hitting into Bazzite and just stalls on a blank black screen. I can't get into any TTYs, and when I spam ESC during boot, I see a bunch of red amongst the green.
Im worried that in doing my theming I somehow destroyed PAM and can't authenticate, let alone get to a proper boot. I'm genuinely terrified that I broke something irreparable
